another rare gem out of fortress dragonclaw ruppertsgrün. drakh used the word >nebelborn< for four tapes of which three you'll now find on this blog already. the fourth and the last >hell, kaos & konquest< will follow some time sooner or later. >cyclop's pyramid< is better than the two previously posted ones. thanks to the vespadevil from braunauland for the rip.

the original demo. the sound is better. different font, different pic, glossy paper. no lyrics, no contact details, no hails to anyone. self-released (12 copies) before chanteloup spread another hundred. forwarded upon release by drakh. one of the (un)holy grails.

SARIN - ... für die Welt (1997)

oliver "winterblut / l'hiver" heide recorded these awesome pieces of improv-black metal back in '97 in his nachtschrei-dungeon, where all early winterblut-recordings were forged, too. it was released by darkmoon spaller via sombre rex. some people may have been introduced to it by insomnia distro's "... for all hate in man" #4 cassette-compilation, but it unfortunately didn't get the attention it deserved when it was available. and seemingly it still is lying dormant buried. unfairly. one of my favorite black metal releases ever. worship!

so, here you go: rare tape by the german black metal band DEATHCULT featuring scorn of KTHRSS. the original tape was spread to a few friends and contacts in 1998. it was re-released by sombre records in 1999 on "trident trinity", a split tape with KTHRSS, limited to 100 copies. it's solid, atmospheric shit, true eerie ritual music, like every product of the reichsmusikkammer ruppertsgrün (apolokia, nebelborn, flakk, hatespawn, moonblood's "german steel" & "dusk woerot", aaranith, ... kthrss, of course....).

this link will lead you to the complete discography of the true APOLOKIA (from germany, not italy), a band closely connected to the true KATHARSIS (from zwickau, not rheinmünster). especially their first demo tape from 1999 was like a miracle, compared to most of the black metal of that period in germany (and beyond). support heroin.

as it was common practice in the 90s to "dedicate" stuff, this post is on behalf the memory of darkmoon spaller, without whose energy and conservatism things would have went even worse. i remember him well, like it was yesterday.
